LaPorte County, Indiana, Historical Society Museum Opens

LAPORTE — It was a long-awaited and historic day for the LaPorte County Historical Society. The doors to the relocated and renovated 36,000-square-foot museum opened Tuesday, and museum visitors poured inside.
The county museum was formerly in LaPorte County Complex. It was moved to the former Door Prairie Auto Museum at 2405 Indiana Ave. in LaPorte.
